But, earlier this year, a growing wave of interest has led to a spike in searches. Celery isn’t bad for a person’s health. In its raw form, it’s a good source of vitamin K. And additionally, it also contains trace amounts of some other vitamins and minerals.

In spite of this, the current claim related to the benefits of celery juice is quite big and needs scientific backing. Also, doctors are worried that such claims may stop people from getting the advice of qualified medical professionals.

Anthony William” has started this trend about the benefits of celery juice. He has about 3.4 million followers on Facebook and another 2 million on Instagram. He calls himself “Medical Medium”. And many celebrities have followed his website. That also includes a tennis star – Novak Djokovic.

Besides this, he has also appeared on TV shows like Keeping Up with the Kardashians. His social media page has made claims like “celery can cure fibromyalgia”. On his website, he has even written that celery juice can relieve a person from diabetes and cancer.

His social media accounts and website are associated with a business that offers books that have hit the bestseller list of The New York Times. But none of these works have involved a medical professional at all. Dr. Austin Chiang is a gastroenterologist in Philadelphia.

He makes videos for his own YouTube channel. He has stated that claims made by Medical Medium aren’t supported by any scientific evidence and can even harm the patients. Anthony William freely admits that he has no medical experience.

While, in one of his videos on YouTube, he has shared his childhood experience about hearing the voice of a spirit. He believes that God speaks to him and that’s how he is able to find the shocking benefits of these natural things.
