5) Salt Water
The fifth remedy in our list is salt water. Gargling with salt water have some instant effects. It helps in soothing a sore throat and helps in knocking the phlegm down the throat. Add ¼ tablespoon of salt in a cup of warm water and gargle with this water. Keep gargling with the water until the water is finished.

6) Thyme Tea
The sixth remedy in our list of home-remedies is thyme tea. Thyme tea helps in curing the bronchitis cough. Though, it can be used for all sort of coughs. The benefits which this tea contains is that it helps in relaxing the throat muscles and lessens the inflammation of the throat. The recipe for thyme tea is easy:

  1. Boil water and place the water.
  2. Add two tablespoons of crushed thyme in the water for some time.
  3. You can also add honey or lemon for taste- for being natural relievers, it will hopefully expedite the process.
